Florence is beautiful!

Lillian and I brought our two oldest children to Italy last week. We took a close look at both Pisa and Florence. I'd heard a lot about how beautiful Florence is, but I absolutely did not expect to be stunned the way I was. What a wonderful experience it was visiting this city. I would strongly recommend a trip - or two. We're definitely going again soon!

...and of course I too had to have this kind of picture taken!

Sofie won the drawing contest

Our oldest daughter, Sofie Top, won this year's drawing contest in school. The best thing of all was witnessing the happiness that resulted from being given the gold medal and all the attention. She was deeply touched. We share the warm feelings of your exultation, Sofie. Regardless of the result, we love you! ...unconditionally!

Web 2.0 collaboration

We're bringing together key people in Grenland working with web as a marketing channel. If you have a blog, a corporate website or any other message you'd like to get out, share or value innovate and increase, then this is it.

Here's the invitation for web collaboration to IKT Grenland (in Norwegian). This has already created quite a stir and interest ;-) I believe this Web 2.0 collaboration group has the potential of becoming a powerful group of people.

Here's a list of buzzwords and tools - in random order - this group will get together and discuss:
  • Wikis
  • RSS
  • Aggregators
  • Folksonomy
  • Six Degrees

Hectic day!

Today I spent most of the day in public speaking assignments...

During the morning hours I met with the entire high school of sports and athletics. For practical reasons they were split in two groups, both filling a huge auditorium. What a wonderful group of young people!

As a combined lunch / lecture Tommy Nordby and I introduced a major project to EDB Industry in Porsgrunn.

In the afternoon I spoke to an international group of students at the local College as part of Scandinavian studies in Telemark. I thorougly enjoyed the occasion.
